Squashed, as if someone pressed down on the letters. But whether or not you can do this depends on what software you have. (I don't think either of the Offices can do this yet. And definitely not Notepad or TextEdit.)

When you try to flatten or squash letters, normally horizontal lines will be thinner than vertical lines. In this case, I'd say it's an extended version because I don't see those differences in lines.
Just my 2 cents tho.

Can't do much with this distracting pict, but with that g it might also be the Trade Gothic.
