Accessing Special Glyphs

Jun 16, 2025 at 05:47

Hi there. I am trying to use "America" font and would like to access the special glyphs for the swoops at the end. I can't find them in the character map for that font on my computer. On the character listing here on dafont, there is no unicode or anything. It just says, "a.001" for example. How on earth do I use the alterative letters in these types of fonts when they aren't associated with a code or lesser used glyphs?

Thank you in advance for your help.

PS - I managed to find them in Photoshop but was hoping to access them in Word

If you want to use unique fonts in Word you can use Unicode characters from a font generator. You won't need to download anything, and can just find your favorite font and copy straight from the browser. The one I use is [https://fontgenerator.cc] Plus there are many options with swoops and details that could work for your project
