So there is this font called Black Forest by Paul Lloyd. The license type on dafont is 100% FREE, there is no information in the readme file about the license. Author doesn't have a account on dafont so I cannot message him, I tried emailing but this email is not existing anymore since the Author was making fonts in early 2000s. His website is also super old with no information about the license of the font. I found the font in several different places on the internet all of the websites stating that is free.

Can I use it commercially for a band logo? I've seen that this author is pretty famous here so maybe some of you guys have experience regarding the license of Paul's fonts.

Paul Lloyd made more than 100 fonts before 2008 which are 100% free for all use. His fonts from 2008 and later for the Greater Albion foundry are not free.
