Trying to rework an old damaged official certificate of merit from France. The font looks like "Nicolas Cochin" type (Archaic for example), but the "Q" and the "Ç" especially looks very strange to me. Can't find anything in font identifiers.
Any type of font is ok to me.

Vous remarquez que la lettre U est plus bas de sa ligne de pied (baseline) qu'une police de caractère numérique.
Il y a beaucoup de fontes française qui n'ont pas été numérisé si on compare au fonte américaine.
Agree there does not seem to be a digital version.
Closest for most letters might be a Garamond, such as Bitstream's Elegant Garamond. But serifs are not as pronounced. _P_ has a gap and _C_ lacks the serifs. Similar _C_ found in Baskerville and Bodoni.
