I'm curious if anyone knows of any fonts that imitate this old SMPTE academy leader font.

I think this is probably hand lettering that won't correspond 1:1 with an existing typeface. The shape of the two Rs seems a little different between the two words and the curve of the C is rather unusual.

The two font I've found that comes closest is Breda Two (Bold). If you're looking for a more common substitute, Franklin Gothic (Demi) isn't too bad.

In both cases if you're trying to recreate the image, you'll need to stretch to 125%.
