Help, I can't contact an author or dafont support

Jun 16, 2020 at 08:34

Hello everyone! I've been trying to contact an author for 15 days, through comments and e-mail, but I don't get an answer.
Based on this I have also sent several emails to the Dafont contact email, but I haven't got an answer either.

My problem is that 15 days ago I made the donation to obtain the license for business use and there has still been no response from the author.

Does anyone know any other way to contact Dafont?
Does anyone know any way to claim the donation? Because if I'm not going to get the license I want my money back.

Thanks in advance.

The author is very clear about use of Chapaza for commercial purposes. He specifically states for you to donate $5 and that gives you the right to use the font for commercial purposes. He did not specify any other restrictions.

If you did that, then you have the right to use the font for your business. Is there any other thing that you need from the author? If you do, send him a private message at https://www.dafont.com/pm/post.php?user=747883 or email him directly using his PayPal email address. His email address should be in your PayPal payment transaction.

Dafont does not inform an author of any comments made on his font. Unless the author regularly checks for new comments, he will not read your comment. I believe on this author's case, he does not.

As far as licensing is concerned, the transaction is strictly between the author and the user/licensee. Dafont does not meddle on this issue. What Dafont does is offer a facility where a user can make a donation to a font author. Other than that, everything is between the user and the font author.

Thank you very much for your response toto@k22
I made the $5 donation and the problem is that with the downloadable license when exporting InDsign documents it gives errors.
I'll e-mail him again. I was sending him to the address that appears in his profile at DaFont but it's true that the Paypal transaction receipt shows another email, so I'll write to that one.
