Hi guys,

I'm trying to upload a font I've made on dafont for the first time, but I got this reply:

"The font you uploaded (MockoFunWavy.zip) has not been validated because of the following problem(s):

- Spacing or kerning problem http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerning";

Initially the glyphs were not centered properly and there was no kerning information. I am using FontForge and after reading the documentation I centered all the glyphs and added kerning info for several glyph pairs. But, I am still getting the same reply when uploading.

What can I do to fix this?

Well the problem is that the spacing and kerning need a lot of improvement unfortunately. Kerning classes are also not used properly. I would recommend dropping the kerning classes in your situation - or only putting similar shaped letters together - and reading more about the spacing/kerning issue here: http://designwithfontforge.com/en-US/Spacing_Metrics_and_Kerning.html
