The American Flag Font
Diggin this font for use on a t-shirt. No indication of authorship. Can anyone help?
http://www.dafont.com/search.php?text=One+nation+Under+12&psize=l&q=the+american+flag A person named Bradford did it. Didn't bother to include ownership and/or license info.
Is there any advice to getting this font available? I would really like to use it, but don't want issues down the road, as well as, wanting to make sure that whoever has done the work gets paid.
You can't. Nobody can.
Thanks Kat. Preciate the help.
DARN!
I first saw this font many years ago back when Fancy For Fonts (Japanese font site) had it. That was back in 2000 or so I think. Version I saw had some cussing in the commentary with the F word and so on. There wasn't any other notes then or copyright info. It could be freeware for all we know.
New wrinkle! Though we are not even amateur graphics people and are crazy new at this idea of shirt making, my wife downloaded a graphics program called InkScape. We will upgrade eventually to a paid program if we turn out to be good, or at least competent at it. Anyhow, there, in the font library is "the American flag"! Does being part of a graphics program make it viable for commercial use? I can't imagine Microsoft coming after me if I used "Times New Roman" (or should I?)
Thanks to all who are helping! I love this site and really appreciate folks taking their time to help out a noob!
The Twerp
skatetwerp, no-one has ever claimed this thing. Only the name Bradford is known. There is no further info on the maker. Thus, as said, you can not contact the maker. Nobody can. Neither can anyone claim the font. Even when that anyone's name were Bradford.
