Looks like Linotype just added Eurostile characters to Arian rather than leave the western characters blank. I've had another look at both and I cant see any difference between the two with my naked eye (admittedly the image I am looking at for the Arian character map is not the highest quality. I'm sure if any other foundry released a font like that Linotype would be most upset. I'm tempted :-)

Eurostile is the original. Arian is just an Arabic variation on the Eurostile. Many font sellers have the Eurostile or one very close to it.
