Hi first time here (General d.) I was wondering if there is a site where I could find old style fonts from 1930s Germany. (Antiqua Style) I wanted to recreate a knight's cross award document from NSDAP Germany. Now i saw that a site was selling replicas but they were really expensive. On their documents they used a font that perfectly resembles the real one that was used on original documents from that time. Here is a picture of the font:

I remembered a .pdf called Schriftmappe where I found a lot of Gothic style fonts that weren't on MyFonts or other sites. So is there a site where I could find more fonts like that and where I could download them for my little recreation project. Tnx. -BtB
None of these really resemble the one on the Knight's cross documents.
Schriftmappe is a great source of fonts but I couldn't find any that resemble the document fonts.
C'est de la calligraphie numériser.

En effet, ça l'est. Mais d'où vient la calligraphie en premier lieu?
Morning Baki,
Okay, I'm back on the computer and in need of doing my work for the day. But first - the closest font available that I can find for you (and we all know, this is not the font) would be: Rob Cooper's Farango
http://www.letterheadfonts.com/fonts/farango Ok, looks nice! Tnx.
