I swear I did a deep research and I read carefully the terms of the license but I cannot understand what I have to do. I also tried to contact the owners of the fonts and the SIL site itself (no reply).

I need to embed some fonts in an EPUB3. To do this I need to convert the format, from TTF to OTF (only OTF can be embedded). Due to the license terms, changing format is considered a modified version. But this is not my intent.

Can someone tell me what I have to do? Can I just convert and not concern about license quibbles? Or do I have to assign a new font name and put some kind of FONTLOG somewhere?
