Hi guys, i have a font on my system called Belgium - Regular. I really have no idea where i got it from, but i really need to find a link to where it can be downloaded or purchased. I have searched the Internet for it, without any luck. So just posting on the off chance that somebody might know of its origin.
It's similar in style to Bauhaus but looks nothing like the similarly named Belgian.
Thanks for any help you might give me.
It's from Brother Industries. Part of the software that came with a printer or some such?
Came with the Brother P-Touch 9500 label printer.
That makes a lot of sense ! Thank you both for your replies. Is it fair to assume that the font is only available through installation of the P-Touch Editor ? I stupidly used it in a commercial project which requires that the font be readily available (either Free or Premium). Time to change the font i think .. What a pity, it's a very nice font !
Why not contact Brother, explain your case and ask for a license that suits your needs?
The question was put here some time ago but today I was dealing with the same problem ... no P-Touch printer and no software anymore and no backup, but my photoshop asked for a missing font when I start to work with an old illustration.
But there is a simple solution ...
Google on "brother p-touch editor" and you wil find Brother P-touch Editor 5.0 Download (Free)- Ptedit50.exe on
http://brother-p-touch-editor.software.informer.com/5.0/
Download the file, run the exe-file and install the editor software. Before that, I scanned the exe-file and it looks to be save. :-)
No printer information or numbers are asked during installation.
Restart the computer and go to the windows/font directory.
There you will find your Belgium standard font again.
Indeed, it's a very nice font ... better than Bauhaus.
