Edition has matching letters but is too light

There is a bit bolder version of the Edition, Long Tall Sally EEN. But not bold enough, still needs an extra stroke to match.

I compared the glyphs of Long Tall Sally EEN with Edition.
LTS is Edition modified with a parallel stroke.
An interesting exercise is to modify Edition to make a passable imitation of _BANDITS_. This consists of filling in the counters by 50% without increasing the width and ... thickening the serifs and horizontal lines. Rest of original post deleted as perhaps being too complex for most readers.

True. But complicated.
First get the image right. That is 80% of the job.
1. straighten
2. crop away the rubbish
3. backslash 7 degrees
4. minimal perspective correction
Now we have an image that can be matched.

LTS 136pt + 3px stroke width, kerning -10
Match.

Deleted most of my previous post as perhaps being too complex for most readers.
@koeiekat Does your procedure maintain the height to width ratio of the letters? Or do they become wider?

A stroke with an even number of pixels adds an equal number of pixels on the outside and the inside of the contours of a glyph. The glyphs become both a bit wider and a bit taller and thus the aspect ratio changes (a bit).
