Komika Slick + Slim  Suggested by Heron2001 

You all know this but it bears repeating, comic book / manga / graphic novel lettering is often done by hand and thus unique whereas fonts repeat identically every time. That said, Komika Slick + Slim is one of the best matches for the font in question I have seen for a specific hand lettered excerpt!

Understory - not all comic book fonts are handlettered -- the greats - oh yes.

Have you seen Comic Craft or Blambot fonts? Also, every since the days of typositor - we have had "alternative letters" and thanks to technology Open Fonts allow us to have them in the font.
