There's no way it's not quite similair enough, because it IS the font you've been looking for.
It's the "ITC American Typewriter Medium Alternate". If you scroll down you'll see the right one. It's not the first one.

Well, there has to be one, because like two weeks ago I downloaded a free one. Not from Dafont though.

Nafets, if you downloaded a free copy of ITC American Typewriter - it means you downloaded an illegal copy of it. ITC still gets it royalties - it is a commercial font only.

Heron2001, I know, but that's not what this "discussion" is about. I'm just saying there is a free (actually illegal) one to find on the internet, because that's what w958 wants. Just trying to help...
