Hi All, This one has puzzled me for some time...

Bear in mind the Typeface on which Mekon was built was originally created by Peter Steiner back in '73. (ie. Berthold / Black Body)... even then neither of these are a true reproduction. Something/Come together was released in '69

I have built a font of my own based on this borrowing from both these sources to try to emulate it more closely...

Anybody have any idea as to the original?
