I need to know how to download fonts for free from the myfonts website, they cost too much money and I don't think its fair to charge $100 for a font can anyone help me??

I think it is, a guy I know had a bunch of fonts from there installed on his computer, and he said he got them for free. I asked him how but he wouldn't tell me.

A computer and a font are 2 very different things, in fact for the price of some of these fonts you could afford a computer. Please don't use ridiculous analogies, you're only going to make yourself look silly.

How can you say it's not fair to charge money for a thing you created? It means you have no respect for the work and time that went into the creation of that font.

It's okay to charge maybe $5 max. But $100 for a single font is ridiculous, how many people do you think are actually going to waste money buying that?

Here is good news! MyFonts has a large free font section that is 100% Legal, with most of them being free weights of paid font families, and a couple complete families for free. They are mainly from smallee foundries though, so no free Helvetica, etc. FontShop, Fonts.com, and FontSpring also have free font sections, and some free fonts on those sites have free Commercial licenses and sometimes free basic Webfont licenses. And then there are good quality Open Source and free for commercial use fonts from sites such as Fontsquirrel, Google Fonts, and this site, Dafont.com.

Try to create a correct font and after, perhaps you can tell the cost is too much.

Anyone know where I can find a plumber for free ? Plumbers cost too much money and I don't think its fair to charge $100 to change a goddamn pipe.
