Flashback to the 70s and New York City (is the Guitar Center still around - it's been years)

There was a typositor face back then called Eton (complete with alternatives) - I believe that was what was used and given to the designer to put this logo together.

Harold's fonts has Wexley - it should work for you. T will need to be modified.
