The designer just didn't respect the restrictions on modification in the font license.

maybe he just made it in photoshop or illustrator, not on the font file itself

Try to match JC with another font, considering that the J is just slightly fatter than COLE (caused by using a about 15% larger font size).

i understand what you say, but when you're talking about "restrictions on modification in the font license", i just think that the designer didn't touch the ttf or otf file.

'did not respect' ... like many, many designers nowadays. Not a very brilliant design anyway.
Whatever, this can only be made with the Century Gothic.

what is exactly said in the license of the CG ? (i dont have the font to read it)
is it written that you can't modify the characters using your favorite graphic software ? (even if you don't export the design as a font)
