Colleged Font Ampersand

I am using Colleged font and for some reason can't get the ampersand to show up. It doesn't show up in my glyphs but it is shown when you go to download the font? I'm confused as to why it won't work.

I made a screen capture of the link you gave us, and added a purple arrow, to point at the ampersand:

Can you see it now?

I had no trouble displaying the glyph in MS Word and Notepad.

There's nothing wrong with the ampersand in Colleged, other than the fact that it's kind of ugly looking.

I am using adobe Illustrator and have tried caps and lowercase and it doesn't show up. I know it's included with the font but I can't get it to insert into my text.
Glyphs is where you can see all the characters and alternates in a font.
