Technical term / name of style

Sep 07, 2014 at 22:08

Hello guys, I know this is probably not a font and was wondering if there was a technical design term for this the of typography or style? Something a bit more specific than hand written or so?

The font in question is the "younger" wording

Another profession that has died. When a designer created a "logo" type - such as your example of Younger, or think of any movie or book title - it was called Hand Lettering - and created by a Hand Letterer.

BTW - this does remind me a bit of Dear Joe 4 - and makes me wonder who the designer behind it was/is...

Dear Joe Four

Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to help me out your answer has been VERY helpful I'm actually looking to study the actual technique rather than look for a font and you've let me know where to start so I really appreciate that.
