I submitted a handwritten font a few days ago but I haven't heard no reply but I'm curious on how long it takes to get a font reviewed?

July and August seem to be vacation months for DaFont, and there hasn't been a lot of updates for anyone, accordingly. Just try to be patient, or take the opportunity to improve your font in the meantime.

France = 5 weeks of paid vacation

Only 5? That is just 25 days. Poor French ... 11 weeks is far more comfortable. One has to negotiate a bit, true, but if they want you you'll get it

Actually, Kat, if they're paying you to be AWAY from them for 11 weeks...

It is what one delivers in the other 41 weeks, including weekends and being available 80 hours a week ...

I thought France had a 30 minute workday, on Tuesdays.. and that's it?

5 weeks per year is not enough, i'm thinking about going on strike...

Amusingly, a few years ago the French government put out a study that said French workers were not as productive as American workers. The response? More than a few worker's unions in France went on strike in protest...

Per hour, maybe, and it's not that much of an advantage... but France has so fewer hours... It also doesn't help that since 2008, our slowdown has turned into a quagmire. :S

It is not your president, Jaynz, it is the US. It is the mentality that the Americans are so proud of, me, me, me and fuck the rest.
In the statistics there should also have been something about job-satisfaction.

And, not really. Tourists, Hollywood, and the internet are NOT good measures of what Americans are like. You see the most spoiled and entitled of us and they're presented as representative of EVERYONE here.

But it could be a lot worse. Could be Spain.

I don't think Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is broadcast in The Netherlands.

wow ! O_o
I'm happy we don't have this booboo stuff on french tv, but we still got shitloads of american crappy tv reality shows on cheap quality channels.
Like guys cutting trees, guys driving trucks in the fucking nowhere, guys hunting gators,...
Not real documentaries, just shows about dumbfucks doing shitty stuff, that could seem to be documentaries if you're dumb enough to believe it.

Seems next generations will become really stupid.
