I do think its a font because i noticed some people did own versions of this and all look the same.Don't think this could really happen by chance.

The fact that the cassette has been used in different compositions does not make hand written text a font.

If you say so ok but these 3 are from different ppl its not the same one in 3 different pictures and that doesn't make sense to me otherwise.

- imagine a CD cover, with a drawing on it
- imagine the record label asks the pressing plant for 5000 units of this CD

do you really think the artist will draw the cover 5 thousand times ?

Now, you are from a very thorough people so everything needs to fix in a box. Yet imagine something. Imagine that once upon a time when Walkmans were something new and revolutionized the whole music consumption world, some company used that new phenomena for a marketing activity and promoted whatever with the gift/self-liquidator of a cassette that looked like it was a self-made recording, with a hand-written title on a brandless label. Are you still there? May it now occur to you that there was not one cassette like this but who knows how many thousands, of which some may have ended up in a photo.

And the nice thing about photos is, you can keep them in a box.

I have the first LP of the Instant Composers Pool and, yes, the sleeve is hand-drawn

i got a lot of silkscreened LPs too (even on the record, which make a one-sided LP), and i even hand-numbered the 500ex of the first 7" i released...
but it's not the majority of records

not silk screened, I have several of those, hand drawn with color pencils.
