Is it possible this was put together for the trademark by a handletterer?
So much of it seems to come from Berliner (COA) or Futura - some Kabel (E)... and Bodega Old Style Black has that kind of S (but Bodega wasn't around in 71)
It can be put together - I just don't think it is all in one font. MHO
and SINCE 1971 - Univers Ultra Condensed
