Problems Installing
Hello, could anyone shed some light please?
I have downloaded fonts successfully from dafont for years but recently am having problems after un-zipping when I try to install the TTF file into the font folder, an error message comes up that it cannot be installed reading: "The file (eg ALBAS_TTF) does not appear to be a valid font."
I am trying to download fonts for our students' GCSE graphics work, and don't know how to fix this problem . I suspect the problem is with our computer settings somewhere rather than the font files, but our IT Technician is unsure wheat the problem is.
If anyone can shed any light on the matter it would be most appreciated.
Many thanks
Lisa
Have you tried to download the font one more time just to make sure?
Hi, thanks for your reply,
yes I have tried lots of the fonts a few times to make sure it wasn't a problem with one font in particular but no luck so far. Thanks for the suggestion though.
How many font have you installed ? Perhaps you have touch the limite of the system for the number of font or the memory alocated to the fonts.
Tried to uninstall a dozen of fonts (some that you don't like) and after retried install new ones.
