How to make the font I download into a embroidery format (PES)?

Sep 02, 2013 at 22:36

I'm pretty new to this site. I downloaded couple fonts into my computer, i have windows, and I'm trying to put the fonts I download into an embroidery software called PE-DESIGN PLUS. Does anyone know how to make that happen?

I don't know this software but with almost all softwares runing on Windows, you don't have to install the font with the software. You install it simply on Windows it-selt and after you can use it with all the software intalled.

To know how to install a font on Windows : http://www.dafont.com/faq.php#win

Menhir, la plupart des logiciels à commande numérique ne supportent que les polices de caractères .ttf .

PE-DESIGN support only .ttf .

I read the manual of this software. It seems that it can use only its own fonts.

Embird plus the Embird Font Engine and then export to PES or DST would be a solution if bufengyatou specifically wants to work with TTF or OTF files. At a price of about $300.
But why do that? PE-Design Plus has two photo stitch functions which import BMP, TIF, JPG, PNG and GIF. So all that needs to be done is make an image with the text and the desired font and ... Bingo!

@ Menhir
The story starts at page 13. Bad luck

We don't have that here.
Only .ttf or .otf
