Hi everybody,
I'm looking for the font you see in the picture. It was used in "Once Is Not Enough", a novel by Jacqueline Susann, published in 1973 (I don't know if that helps).
I tries other "typewriter-like" fonts, but none of them looks quite the same.
If it is commercial font, suggestions about free similar fonts would be much appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance

Identified font
New Caledonia Suggested by millner It's a normal serif font to me, but that image won't help. If you have that book, try to scan it @600 ppp (in b/w), for example.
Not B/W but grayscale. B/W will only generate a pixelated image.
