Millner,
Each manufacturer makes their own version. In the olden days, each type manufacturer made their own and changed a few nuances...
This is Futura - however, maybe you would prefer the R in the Bitstream version -
http://myfonts.us/td-aNXOim These are the shapes - except for the capital S
I guess the dotes were screened in - or there
is another font out there.
Because of the diamond - I think it's Goudy Old style
With that little cut in it - I assumed someone screwed up in photoshop....

I once read an apology from Nick Curtis - he realized that when he first started out - he was just making fonts and not knowing what he was doing - or realizing he was taking someone else's work as his own. The letter was wonderful - even remorseful - he stated that if he could start again he'd do it differently.
I gave him a lot of credit - and his fonts really are nice... I love when he does Art Deco ones... especially ones that have not been with us since the way of the typositor.
Thank you. Wow... that wasn't how I remembered that R... lol
It reminds me of Ravenwood - if you'd like something with the same feel - but it is not the same - look at:
http://myfonts.us/td-VIL2c6 ITC bought out Image Club's library - but never put out the Eclat Alternate font - so the only place to get that lower case R now is with Creampuff... But by now you know that if I remember (and my brain is getting weaker...) an original - I try for it. I do not mean to offend anyone - just educate. There is so much about type that is lost - and the next generation hasn't a clue... the masters are gone.
Bold or Heavy your choice... lol
cevpenguin - hello.
It isn't Gill Sans - please take a good look - the "R" is not correct - there was another post from the same person with more letters - it is definitely ITC Johnson - but most seem to have Gill Sans and it makes a good subsitute.
If you are curious - here is the other thread:

dakshinamurti - you have located a wonderful face - and it was probably designed for the KEEP CALM series of things we've been bombarded with on the internet - but if you look closely you will see the letters do not match up. Obvious in the "C"
It similar to Blaze by Signfonts -

but not the same...
You are most welcome.
