If this is truly really old, it may not be a "font".
I'm thinking that it's best for one of the moderators here to chime in on this.

The two "t" and "i" letters don't match, so possibly not a font.
Repeated letters don't match each other - possibly not a font.

As one of the moderators here astutely put it; the font world is a "jungle". One would have to spend a copious amount of time researching the history of each font to offer a sanitary reply. Add to that, there's even a level of whore-dom within the realm of font designers themselves. Gah.
