Agree with Claude. Yet maybe I can help. Make a new scan or whatever you used to make this pict, grayscale, 600dpi. Save as png. When done tell me.

As for that scan... except for that "edited" eight... other numbers are in good shape

The dail has a new life now.
First i have the original dail scanded (mfc 7420) in.
With abdobe ilustrator placed it on the excact place.
(see pdf http://pdfcast.org/pdf/wijzerplaat-1925)

I have made a transparant adhesive folie printed with the numbers and the cadran.
Placed on the refished dail with silver, en a protected with a plastic laquer on it.

I is a low budget clock so the cost must be low, for good looking only.
