So I have downloaded the font Corki (
http://www.typedepot.com/corki) and as you can see in the font demonstration image, it appears that this font not only contains four styles, but also a gun symbol, several pointing symbols, several arrow symbols, and several banner symbols.
HOWEVER, when I try to use this font in word, i cannot for the life of me seem to find the symbols that appear to be included in the font.
Help please?
Use the charmap (include in the windows tools).
In a MS-DOS window or Run Windows, type "charmap", it will start.
I'm sure it's possible too to access it via windows menus but I've Windows XP french and I don't know what the way to access it with Vista US.
The Charmap can show all le symbols of a font.
It's impossible with Word. The glyphs are "unassigned".
But... with Illustrator:
