There seem to be persons on deviant art who upload fonts by us, then pretend they are theirs. Vinz told me he has a problem here as well, so I had a look and guess what:

Happens all the time hanoded. Putas from Uruguay and Mexico, thus no education, no respect and by nature stealing left right and center ... somos latinos jeje

i've tried 2 times to contact them through this, no replies 15 days later, the font is still here !

No I opened a 'copyright infringement case' (under 'contact'): they already wrote me twice. Needed to give them all kinds of stuff, like proof of ownership of the fonts and some links. Hope it works.

That's a pity my black friend but is doesn't change the truth. Somos latinos, take whatever we can get and will avoid in any possible way to pay. Even the wages we owe. Pasa nada jeje.

Nope. Gatonegro is a friend. Just upset about 'somos latinos' which he took personally while quoting the chicks - to phrase it nicely this time.

No cat fight here. I just thought implying that stealing is part of the latino's nature was rude, and voiced my opinion. That's no reason to pick a fight with a fellow member of the forum, who is also an awesome guy.

Getting back to what this thread REALLY was about: the person who stole my Face Your Fears font (heylookmyeditions - 2nd link) has come to her senses and removed the font from deviantart!

...but then again: this website here http://www.downloadatoz.com has a bot, which downloads all fonts from dafont and other legit websites, then strips them off their readmes and other files and puts them up for download. When you download the font, all you get is a ttf file. No author recognition, no nothing.
You're probably used to all of this, but it amazes me (the font-newbee)...

It was removed by Deviantart after I opened a case. They apparently slapped the thief as well...
