Getting a Diagnostic Message when trying to extract/install the font 'Carnala'

Jan 23, 2011 at 02:54

I've been downloading fonts from dafont.com for quite a while now and never had an install problem until now. I'm trying to extract/install the new font "Carnala" and I keep getting a WinRAR Diagnostic Message that says "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged." Is this a problem on my end, or is there something wrong with this file? Thanks for any help you can provide.

I am now having the same problem. I downloaded three or four different fonts and installed them but now that's the message that I'm getting as well. Hoping someone has an answer for us. And it's not on just one specific font, it's on any of them....

Hey, try reloading you Winzip! I just downloaded a trial version last week but when I just reloaded it, it's working fine now. Hope that helps!

Yes, there is sometimes a conflict between the zip software used ti create the archive and the one used to unzipp it. Try another software.

7-zip can handle most any compressed file. Give it a try.

I'm the author of Carnala, if you still have any problems you can write me to rodromoptero@gmail.com and ask for the font : )
