Don, the font was found. I guess you didn't read the note scotinaf left for us.
Perhaps Benton Sans Medium - extended manually
I believe this is an old OPTIFont - called Sport Script. Which they copied from Athletic Script.
The closest commericially I see is AZ Cut Script.

There is a part of me that wants to believe it is a font - and one that says someone designed and registered this as a logo for the Bakery.
If you are just looking for something with the same feel - I'd recommend Signalist.
NOT THE FONT
I don't think itis a typeface... If you look closely you will see the Ds and Es do not match each other - and resemble each other too much so, that I doubt someone made a font with alternatives that close.

NOT THE FONT
Looks like someone stepped on Handel Gothic Heavy and then outlined it.
This was Serif Gothic Black - using the alternatives it use to have... (you can see them on transfer type sheets or in old typositor books)that contain the original ITC fonts.
