So, I am devoloping an app which I don’t earn money in any way which is hosted on sourceforge. Can I use a personal use font for that apps icon, and some logo? P.S: Font is continuum bold. And for Wikipedia, the company that owns this font has stopped working in 1998.

If you want to host something on Sourceforge, I think you'd better use a GPL / OFL font

Regarding the second question, you should ask to its designer, but apparently the foundry itself was shady http://luc.devroye.org/fonts-26168.html

And if you don't earn money from your app (you don't sell it, no ads in it, no in-game micro-payments,...), only use the fonts markes as "Public domain / GPL / OFL" "100% Free" or "Free for personal use"

So I also emailed the owner of the font, and am I able to use Continuum Bold? It says free for personal use
