Whenever I read a PDF file online, this font is there. I'd like to know the name but I never found it nor could acknowledge the name in the PDF Adobe Reader for the font that shows in the software is another. It's so tricky- but the font is so simple. I just want to know the name. Can anybody please help?

The screenshot I've chosen is from "The Bad Beginning" PDF and I'm not sure if the font is the same for everyone, but still, I'd appreciate the help I can get.

I would like to know what this font is. I'm reading A Series Of Unfortunate Events and the font is way too alluring. I think it's similar as Cambria Math but I'm not sure, either way that font isn't what I'm looking for.

I also tried to use all kinds of Fonts Identifier but they're expensive to buy and I'm only looking for this font for fun and to write prettily. Does anyone have any guesses?
