In another DaFont ID thread ( https://www.dafont.com/forum/read/333244/please-help-me-i-want-to-know-the-font-of-the-super-nintendo-s-logo ) a slanted recreation, SNES by Westral Fonts, was linked and I added info and a link to my non-slanted remake, Ensconce Sans, which also has lowercase characters.

The original SNES logo and certain variants (e.g. a Donkey Kong Country bundle) was handmade based on Univers, which was used for most English-language marketing materials as well as the "ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM" text on the SNES logo.
Source: I emailed GIRVIN Design who was originally responsible for it and that is what they told me.
PS: While the suggested SNES font will 100% work for slanted usage, it only has slanted. I recently made a font, Ensconce Sans, which is upright, has lowercase, and when artificially slanted is nearly indistinguishable from the original logos. I have linked to its info page where a free demo can be downloaded.
