It looks like someone took ITC Clearface and abused it in Illustrator or Photoshop....

It looks like someone worked over Ballantine Script…
The bullet over the i was lowered and a tail put on the "l" and changed out the S - but otherwise… it looks like the basis of this.

Sony - when it's a logo - most of the time it is handtailored from a base font.
SashiX knows (from that S) that this was fashioned after Antique Olive.
So, if you erased the bar from the "A" and add a white line in the R (to separate) voila - you have the logo.
