No need. You have made a series of images. As these (can) have more than one color they can not be converted into a font.
I have tried the 2015-5-2 updated version with PSP and Wordpad without any problems. Are you sure you have the updated version?
MAC users may have some problems with the top of some letters being cut of with some applications. The good old wrong vertical metrics settings.
