Friend designed a logo for me, but now has lost the font , he says he got it off here.

It looks like they used a Nick Curtis font
Either Beauty School Dropout or Monica's Salon.

Both are commercial fonts these days, but I cannot find a link.

Guess not - found you a link on Eagle Fonts.
