Hi,
I have finished a short film. It's a drama set in 1984 about a 15 year old boy
who falls in love with his neighbor and starts doing devoted yard work for her.
The boys heart is broken in the end.

I am looking for an appropriate font for the title.

So far, I found a font i somewhat like called "all used up" which is linked here using the title of my film

What draws me to it is that there are upper and lowercase letters intermixed all at the same height, which speak to a story about a boy trying to be a man Or the feeling of being trapped between adulthood and childhood.
I dont know if it is period, however, and I also don't like the scratched out quality.


While I would like it to feel period I don't want it to scream period
the 80's is a generation that is often looked at as tacky and this film is not about laughing at the goofy neon
bubble pop qualities of the 80's
so corny/cheesy retro stuff like Miami Vice blocky font or MJ's Thriller neon cursive, are all definitely out.
