Hi Everyone,

I found a font on here that I absolutely LOVE and I have downloaded it (so fare so good). But the issue I am having is I don't know how to use it for my wordpress blog? I went into my FTP and got all the way into my CSS files and I found the area that I would normally replace the font name with the new font name I found here but it did not work?

So I was wondering does anyone know of a wordpress plugin that I could use that will work for dafont.com or maybe something I might be missing when I try to do it by going into some other place in my ftp files?

The font can only be 'seen' when it is installed on the computer. If not it will be replaced by the browser default font. To achieve what you have in mind you must embed the font in your pages. Used to be a nightmare, but with @font-face it has become much easier. Realize that only fonts with embedding rights can be embedded.
How to? Have a look at fontsquirrel. Good luck with your experiment.

You might want to contact the font designer to make sure they're ok with your usage first, you know, to avoid legal issues and all.

If preview and print embedding is allowed there should be no legal problem because that is exactly the type of embedding you will be using.
