Local Font Explorer inspired by Dafont's font preview feature.

Description: A downloadable HTML file that you can save and open on your computer with Google Chrome Browser that allows you to view/explore all the local fonts on your computer. You can set the text you want displayed in the fonts as well as set the font size and select/show only the selected fonts.

Instructions:

Save this file to your desktop or location of choice(might have to unzip it). Right click the file, open with Google Chrome(Must use Google Chrome).
Type the text you want each font to be shown in.
Adjust font size if needed.
Click Load Local Fonts button, allow Chrome to access your local fonts.
Select the fonts you like, scroll back to top, click Show Selected Only button to see only selected fonts.
Refresh page to start over.
