How do you learn to make shape/image fonts (Like Dingbat fonts)
In designing fonts are of great help specially Dingbat fonts. I wonder how they are made? How to learn to make shape/image fonts (Like Dingbat fonts).
I shall be thankful if anyone would please guide.

Dingbats are made the same way other fonts are made. They're both vector drawings.

You'll need an adequate software, like Fontographer, FontCreator, Fontlab, Glyphs,...
Once you chose one of these software, you'll have to learn how it works by reading its official documentation, watching tutorials,...

@marty666 thank you. I visited fontstruct.com it is interesting. It seems may take time to understand. Do you suggest any easy to learn software for dingbat fonts making? Thank you
