I created an Articuno font to be used with Comic Life program that I have. I had it on my computer for about 5 or so months, about a week ago, I completely redesigned the font all together and replaced it in the system (fonts folder;control panel) and it displays correctly when in the font viewer but the .ttf file itself has a preview of the old font, but displays correctly when double clicked and opened with the font viewer in Windows 7. However, all programs including the ones that only use fonts in their program files folder and/or appdata or own folder in My Documents display the old font version rather than the new version. what is wrong and how do I correct this?

Possibly a problem with font caches? (I'm no MS guru, but if you are having font weirdness, cleaning/clearing the font cache probably won't hurt)
