I am reprinting a catalog that is from 1907 and am trying to find the font used in it for the supplemental material.

To my eyes the font used is the same or similar to newspaper fonts used at the time.

Would anyone recognize this and can tell me what it is??

Hello,

Thanks but I am not looking for modern variations. Only the actual thing used back in 1907.

Modern is a general term for faces drawn with greater precision and greater contrast between thick and thin strokes than the earlier Old Styles faces.

Example: Modern no 8, Modern Roman no 64, Modern Roman no 64,...

By "modern" I meant a font that is not a newer version created within my life time. I am looking for original name of the font as published in 1907.
