I really like this font but it costs money so does anyone know any similar ones?

All that are similar are also commercial. But that is not the end of the story. You can make such a font yourself, with ease. First find a very condensed sans-serif font that is free under a creativecommons license so that you are sure that the font may be altered.
Then goto http://www.fontpunk.com/ and start playing with the 3D Effect.
