Is there a different way to install a font (windows 7) other than extracting the files and drag/dropping the font into the font navigator box etc etc, is there another way that i don't know of? and is that way any better than the extracting way?

Why not try to really install. For once be brave. Slam that Help button and experience the horror of learning something.

Right button --> Install font? lol
In earlier versions of Win, you could temporary install the font only by opening it.
