Plakat Fraktur

i downloaded plakat-fraktur which is supposed to be a free font but it won't embed in a pdf. so i cant send a sample pdf of the catalog i am working to someone to look at without also sending the font and then they have to embed it. most people dont have the skills to do this. i'd pay for it if that would unlock it, but that isn't an option. what is the solution?
