Pricedown

Pricedown is an interpretation of an early 1970s display typeface called Pinto Flare. It was famously used as the logotype for the US game show, The Price is Right as well as Technos Japan’s Tag Team Wrestling video game in 1986. Pricedown was released in early 2000 and appeared in the Grand Theft Auto III logotype in late 2001. In OpenType savvy applications, some character combinations will interlock. For example, when the H is followed by the I, a swash tail will tuck under the I. If you’d like to disable this effect, turn off the standard ligatures feature in your application. Pricedown is available in nine weights so you can skilfully attenuate its impact. Most Latin-based European, Vietnamese, Greek, and most Cyrillic-based writing systems are supported, including the following languages.
